Margaret MacMinn, D.M.D. grew up in the Sierra Mountains in Reno, Nevada and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. Always her dream to live in the bay area, she moved to North Bay in 2010 right after graduation and has been practicing in private, group practice in the North Bay ever since. She is currently working toward a continuing education Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, focusing on complex multi-specialty cases, esthetics, and the connection between oral health and whole-body health. She especially enjoys cases of esthetic bonding, working with children, and developing individualized, preventive dentistry plans for those at high risk of tooth decay. Her goal each day is to make the process of caring for teeth stress-free, predictable, and enjoyable for both herself and her patients. She believes that a relationship built on trust and listening between dentist and patient is the biggest factor for successful oral health, and this relationship can have the power to greatly improve dental and overall health for patients. When she is not busy helping people to tend to their teeth, she is usually outdoors hiking, traveling, or working on art or science projects with her four very active young children.
